About the Citrus Festival

The Santa Paula Citrus Festival has been a summer tradition in Ventura County since 1987. What started as a neighborhood gathering in Harding Park grew into one of the Santa Clara River Valley's most anticipated annual events — three days of live music, carnival rides, food vendors, a car show, and genuine community spirit.

The festival is organized entirely by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Paula. No corporate sponsors running the show, no outside event management company. Just local volunteers who believe in their town and put in months of planning so that one weekend in July, Santa Paula gets to celebrate what makes it special.

Where the Money Goes

Every dollar raised at the Citrus Festival goes directly to local youth programs. Scholarships for high school seniors, school supplies, scouting organizations, community sports leagues, and services that support local families. The Kiwanis Club doesn't take a cut — volunteers handle everything from setup to teardown without compensation.
